As the IT Dept updates the version of Microsoft Office we are using, you may notice a few changes, particularly if you use the web version. The section below documents some of the differences you may see. | |
While most of the changes will occur in the web version, if you have Outlook open on your laptop during the upgrade, you may see this window. If you do, simply click OK, close Outlook, and restart Outlook. |
You can open the web version of Outlook from the footer of any page in our public website, starkdd.org. Some staff may have their access limited to specific days and times. |
Enter your username and password. Your username must be prefixed with the domain name (mrdd) followed by a backslash: mrdd\username. The password is the same as your network password. |
The email interface may look a little different, but all the functionality is still there. You can Reply, Forward, and Delete any email. |
To begin a new email click the New button. |
Begin typing the last name of the recipient, and if you have previously sent an email to this person, auto-complete will suggest the name. |
Click on the Apps icon in the upper left to change to the Calendar or other apps. |
The Calendar works with the same functionality as the desktop version. |
