You change your network password, enter the correct credentials as instructed in After Changing my Password a Box Pops up Asking for my Outlook Password, pt 1, but the box still keeps popping up telling you to enter your password. You may inadvertently have your previous password stored (cached) on your laptop. Follow the instructions below to delete your old password. |
|
Click on the Windows Start button and open the Control Panel. |
Open User Accounts.
|
In the left column, open Manage your credentials. |
Open Windows Credentials. |
Find the section labeled Generic Credentials. If you find an entry for MS Outlook (or something similar) click the chevron to the right in order to expand the entry. |
At the bottom of the section click to link to Remove the entry. We recommend you restart your computer. You may have to enter your credentials one more time as described in After Changing my Password a Box Pops up Asking for my Outlook Password, pt 1. If this does not correct the issue, please contact the Help Desk again. |
